Availability of Items

All items listed on the website are subject to availability and items may be withdrawn at any time without prior notice.  Should the item(s) ordered no longer be available we will notify you, and if payment has already been made we will arrange an immediate refund.

Postage and Delivery

We aim to deliver worldwide and prices should be available to view during your online shopping with us. To see the cost of posting an item to you add the item to your basket, view your basket and click ‘Estimate Shipping’.

Under our standard next day delivery service we aim to dispatch goods within 1-2 working days, for delivery to destinations in the UK within 2-3 working days. Please check product pages for any special delivery information relating to specific products.

Deliveries from The Classic Era are mostly made by either Royal Mail or Parcelforce, but other premium courier services may be used. For courier services please ensure your deliveries address has someone to sign for your goods, or please leave alternative delivery details within the special instructions when filling out your shipping form.

Please contact us for complex delivery requirements or for deliveries on Saturdays. Please bear in mind that such deliveries will be more expensive than standard delivery services.

Overseas orders

We deliver to most countries; if you don’t see your country available for delivery please contact us to see if other arrangements can be made.

It is the responsibility of our non-UK customers to pay the relevant duties incurred at the port of entry to their country. The Classic Era will not accept responsibility for discrepancies incurred by customers who are not familiar with the rulings of their parent country.

International delivery times are variable, but we always use a premium delivery service to ensure that your order is with you as soon as possible.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.


We make every effort to deliver within the time stated on our website but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery. If the goods are not delivered within the delivery time that we quote for that item, please contact us. We will try and ensure that you receive your order as quickly as possible, or if you wish you may cancel your order and we will refund you any monies paid in full.

Please note that every effort will be made to make amends for any discrepancy, however certain circumstances are outside of our control- such as issues that may arise after dispatch to postal services (primarily late delivery, damage or loss). If your parcel has not been delivered within the expected time frame we will contact the service in question promptly to enquire about the whereabouts of your parcel and will keep you informed of their reply. In the unfortunate event that your parcel is completely lost we will refund the full cost including the postage and packaging. If there is any damage to your item during transit please contact us with the relevant details (including photographs) to discuss return and refund or repair. It is important to stress that thankfully problems during postage are infrequent and the vast majority of parcels arrive on time and in good health.

If you purchase multiple items from The Classic Era and we cannot complete any aspect of that order (due to stock discrepancies or other unforeseen problems) we will alert you as soon as possible and will dispatch the other items pending your approval of receiving an incomplete order.


We believe that you will be delighted with your product but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible. When you wish to make a return, please contact us before doing so to discuss appropriate postage and packaging. Many of our items are unique and often fragile and we are more than happy to help with advice for the safe passage of our pieces back to us (and to protect your refund). These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

If for any reason you decide that you no longer want your purchase from the Classic Era you may return the product (having taken reasonable care of it/them, complete with packaging and all components) within 30 days from date of purchase, we will refund you immediately on receipt and verification of condition.

The Classic Era will not accept the costs for return shipping on orders placed incorrectly, common examples include:

1. Incorrect address
2. Unwanted goods
3. Incorrect sizing/colour
4. Overseas import duties and tax issues
5. Failure to include an international telephone number (overseas orders only)

If you return an item to us that is faulty or not as described please contact us by email: . Once informed we will arrange a refund, repair or replacement. We ask that you send items back to us via a fully tracked and insured service. In the event of returning a larger item (over 2kg including packaging) we will agree a relevant service. Please obtain a proof of posting certificate from your Post Office or carrier. In the event that your return postage costs dramatically exceed other easily available online prices of courier companies, we reserve the right to withhold the excess. For this reason, we would be far happier to be asked for advice on courier postage and for us to discuss a solution together, prior to posting.
